Monroe's Historic Journey: A Call to Shape a Brighter Future Together

As we approach the final stretch of this campaign, I want to take a moment to reflect on how far we've come together. From the start, our journey has been one of determination, unity, and hope. Now, as the election day, Saturday, March 23rd, draws near, we need your support more than ever to make history and shape a brighter future for our beloved city.

Throughout this campaign, we have worked tirelessly to address the issues that matter most to our community. From crime reduction to economic development, from supporting small businesses to empowering our youth, our vision for Monroe is one of progress and inclusivity.

As your candidate for Mayor, I am committed to:

  • Crime Reduction: Implementing authentic community policing strategies to reduce violent crime. I will ensure that police officers are actively engaged in the neighborhoods they serve, working closely with citizens to create safer communities.

  • Youth Development Programs: Creating year-round programs for at-risk youth in collaboration with our school system. These programs will provide educational, workforce development, and recreational opportunities, empowering our young residents to reach their full potential.

  • Economic Development: Focusing on revitalizing areas like the Southside to spark growth and prosperity for all of Monroe. I will work to attract new businesses and industries while supporting existing ones, creating economic opportunities for everyone.

  • Small Business Development: Supporting small businesses and encouraging entrepreneurship that drives local economic growth. I will provide resources and support to help small businesses thrive and create jobs in our community.

  • Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE): Increasing the participation of DBEs in city initiatives. Diversity and inclusion are crucial for economic development, and I am committed to ensuring that everyone has an equal chance at success.

  • Affordable Homeownership Program: Making homeownership more accessible through affordable programs, especially for first-time buyers. Owning a home should be within reach for everyone, and I will work to make that a reality in Monroe.

  • Public Works: Improving public works and enhancing the delivery of city services, particularly in communities that have been neglected for too long. Efficient city services are essential for a high standard of living, and I will ensure that all residents have access to quality services.

  • Community Engagement: Establishing semi-annual community meetings in each council district for direct resident engagement. Communication and accountability are key, and I want to provide a platform for residents to express their concerns and ideas.

Now is the time to show your support for our vision for Monroe. Whether you donate, volunteer, or spread the word, your involvement can make a real difference. Join us as we make history together. Donate or volunteer now and be a part of this exciting journey. Thank you for your support!
